When Can You Book Disney Cruise Activities?
You can book onboard activities between 130 and 75 days before you sail, depending on your Castaway Club level or whether you're staying in Concierge. "Activities" means the extras that sell out: adults-only dining at Palo and other specialty restaurants, spa treatments, Port Adventures (Disney's name for shore excursions), and kids' experiences like the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeover.
Here's when each group can start booking:
Concierge guests: 130 days before sailing (through Disney's Shoreside Concierge team; online booking opens at 123 days)
Pearl members (25 or more sailings): 123 days before sailing
Platinum members (10 to 24 sailings): 120 days before sailing
Gold members (5 to 9 sailings): 105 days before sailing
Silver members (1 to 4 sailings): 90 days before sailing
First-time cruisers: 75 days before sailing
Good to know: your booking window only opens once your cruise is paid in full. If you're booked inside the final payment window, pay in full first so you don't miss your day.
Here's the part that trips people up: first-time cruisers book last. By the time your window opens, repeat cruisers have already had weeks to grab the popular spa times and excursions. That's why we put your exact date on the calendar the day you book.
When Does Disney Cruise Online Check-In Open?
Online check-in opens between 40 and 30 days before you sail, and the earlier you check in, the earlier your port arrival time (the time you're allowed to show up at the terminal and board).
Concierge guests and Pearl members: 40 days before sailing (Pearl members are automatically placed in Boarding Group 2)
Platinum members: 38 days before sailing
Gold members: 35 days before sailing
Silver members: 33 days before sailing
Everyone else, including first-time cruisers: 30 days before sailing
TIP: An earlier port arrival time means more time on the ship on day one. Lunch, the pool, and those first photos all happen before the crowds board.

When should I book my Disney cruise to get the best options?
As early as you can. Popular sail dates (holidays, spring break, summer) fill up fast, and booking early gives you the best stateroom choices. Disney cruise prices also tend to go up, not down, as the sail date gets closer.
What happens if I miss my activity booking window?
You can still book after your window opens, but the most popular items (Palo brunch, spa times, top Port Adventures) may already be gone. You can keep checking for cancellations, and your Travel Specialist can watch for openings for you.
What time does my booking window open?
Disney's system opens your window at midnight Eastern Time on your booking day. Set an alarm, or let us handle it for you.
What if I upgrade to a Concierge stateroom after booking?
Your booking windows update to the Concierge timeline. Check your Disney Cruise Line account for your new dates.
How do I find my Castaway Club level?
Log into your Disney Cruise Line account and look under your profile. Your level is based on how many Disney cruises you've completed: 1 sailing makes you Silver, 5 makes you Gold, 10 makes you Platinum, and 25 makes you Pearl.
