Where We Plan Theme Park Vacations

Walt Disney World (Florida)

  • Magic Kingdom: she is known for her castle, the fairytale classics, and the fireworks.

  • EPCOT: World Showcase, year round festivals, and some of the best food at Disney.

  • Hollywood Studios: Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, Toy Story Land, and big thrill rides.

  • Animal Kingdom: Pandora, real safari animals, and Expedition Everest.

  • Disney Springs and the water parks: shopping, dining, family entertainment, nightlife, and a break on those warm summer days.

Disneyland Resort (California)

  • Disneyland Park: the original park Walt built and walked in, with the classics and the charm. It's a must for Disney lovers and fans.

  • Disney California Adventure: Highlights here are Avengers Campus, Cars Land, and Pixar Pier.

  • Easy to walk: both parks sit across from each other, so it's a great fit for little ones and multi-generational families.

Universal Orlando Resort

  • Universal Studios Florida + Islands of Adventure: both halves of the Wizarding World, linked by the Hogwarts Express.

  • Epic Universe: Universal's newest park, with Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon, and the Ministry of Magic.

  • Volcano Bay: a water theme park fully designed for hot Florida afternoons.

Universal Studios Hollywood

  • A working movie studio: the famous Studio Tour, plus Super Nintendo World and the Wizarding World.

  • Easy to pair with Disneyland: we can plan both destinations in one vacation for a full SoCal experience.

Beyond the U.S.

  • Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disney Resort, and Aulani in Hawaii: ask us about adding Disney magic to a bigger vacation!

How Do You Pick the Right Theme Park Vacation?

The right vacation depends on your kids' ages, your budget, and how you like to tour the parks. Here's what we look at with every family:

  • Who's coming: toddlers, tweens, teens, or grandparents all change the plan.

  • How many days: enough to enjoy it without rushing, but not so many you burn out.

  • Where you stay: on-site perks like early park entry versus a value off-site hotel.

  • Ride heights: advice on what your kids can actually ride, so nobody's surprised in line.

  • Line-skipping options: Lightning Lane and Express Pass, and when they're worth adding to your package.

  • Dining: reservations handled for you when your window opens and which meals are worth booking.

Theme Park FAQs

Does it cost more to book Disney or Universal through a travel agent?

No. Disney and Universal packages cost the same whether you book direct or through us. Some of our Travel Specialists also offer a Concierge Planning Package for families who want extra hands-on help, like a custom day-by-day plan. Ask your Travel Specialist what's included.

How far ahead should I book Disney World?

For holidays, spring break, and summer, start 9 to 12 months ahead for the best resort choices. Dining reservations open 60 days before your vacation, and Lightning Lane opens before your arrival too. Our free Disney Dining Reservation Calculator shows your exact date.

Is Disney or Universal better for my family?

It depends on your kids' ages and what they love. Disney shines for little ones and characters. Universal is a hit with Harry Potter fans, Nintendo fans, and thrill seekers. Lots of families do both in one Orlando/Hollywood vacation, and we'll help you split the days.

How many days do I need at Walt Disney World?

Most first-time families do well with 4 to 5 park days. That gives you one day per park plus a little breathing room. We'll help you build the right plan for your crew.

Can you plan Disney and Universal in the same vacation?

Yes! We plan split stays all the time, in Orlando and in California. We'll help you decide how many days to give each and where to stay.
